Jamie Mahr has over 20 years of teaching experience across grades 5–8 and currently teaches seventh-grade English Language Arts. She is an ABD doctoral candidate in K–12 Educational Leadership and has trained over 300 teachers in literacy and instructional practices throughout her career. Jamie co-authored a peer-reviewed article focused on the ethical and effective use of AI in literacy instruction and presented her work at the 2024 National Education Research Association Conference.
Jamie believes that all students should take an active role in their education at both the classroom and school-wide levels. Jamie is passionate about Potluck Culture's ability to empower educators, school leaders, and students through innovative, student-centered approaches to learning.
